Sustainable development goals to eradicate hunger.

The Sustainable Development Goals offer a vision of a fairer, more prosperous, peaceful and sustainable world in which no one is left behind. We know that food is important, and it is what keeps people alive. In food - the way it is grown, produced, consumed, traded, transported, stored and marketed - lies the fundamental connection between people and the planet, and the path to inclusive and sustainable economic growth.  reaching the other SDGs will pave the way for ending hunger and extreme poverty. We can advance faster if we work together.  It is possible to eradicate hunger by 2030. This requires : 1- combination of pro-poor investments in sustainable agriculture and rural development and social protection measures to immediately lift people out of chronic undernourishment and poverty.  2-We need to transform our current input-heavy food systems to make them more sustainable. 3-reducing food waste and loss – through better management and improved techniques in agriculture, livesto

-The goal of the Zero Hunger campaign is to eliminate hunger, malnutrition, and rural poverty by 2030 This can be achieved through the implementation of an integrated approach to food systems . - It is very important that all families have enough food to eat properly. A world without hunger can have a positive impact on various aspects of society, such as education, health, and economies. It is a key component of the Sustainable Development Goals that aims to end hunger and ensure that all people have access to nutritious food. - Facts and Figures: Current estimates are that nearly 690 million people are hungry, or 8.9 percent of the world population – up by 10 million people in one year and by nearly 60 million in five years. The majority of the world's undernourished – 381 million – are still found in Asia. References:  -  https://sdgs.un.org/ -  https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/memberstates/saudiarabia

The world progress on the world hunger.

- A steady downward trend has been observed in export subsidy outlays notified to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Total notified annual outlays fell from a peak of $6.7 billion in 1999 to $138 million in 2018. In December 2015, WTO members adopted the ministerial decision on export competition, formally agreeing to eliminate all forms of agricultural export subsidy entitlements. - At the global level, the number of countries and territories afflicted by high food prices decreased from 2014 to 2019, with the notable exception of some countries in Central, Southern and Western Asia as well as Northern Africa, owing to the reduced domestic availability of staple foods and to currency depreciations.
